I’ve been messing around with Martingale for a bit, but instead of sticking to the usual double-up, I’ve been watching live odds shifts to time my bets. Like, if I see the odds on a favorite tightening mid-game, I’ll hold off on the next bet until they stabilize or loosen a bit. It’s not foolproof, and I’m still testing it, but it feels like it cuts down on some of the wild swings. Anyone else tried something like this? I’m kinda new to tweaking systems, so curious what you all think.

I haven’t tried it with live odds shifts myself, but I get where you’re coming from—those mid-game swings can be brutal. I usually stick to baseball for my bets, but your idea’s got me thinking about how puck line shifts in hockey could work with this. Like, waiting for odds to settle on a tight game before doubling down could save some serious bank.
